Ok maybe you can relate to this I’m going to go right back to my first real excessive blush I can remember, maybe this was normal or maybe this was the trigger to my intense blushing.
After my storytelling, I want to talk about how I cured my blushing by up to 90% and maybe you can to. 🙂
So let’s go back to 1991 when I was a fresh-faced good looking teenager studying at a colleague, for a building diploma. I WILL always remember this moment it was 27 years ago, it was in a maths lesson and there was this girl Kim that I fancied the pants off. We always flirted around each other and exchanged little glances at each other during class etc, and a couple of my mates knew this of course. Well, I think she was flirting or maybe it was ALL just me 🙂
BTW if a teacher did this in this day and age I should imagine they would be disciplined severely
So….
Mr Diprose the MOST strict, old, boring unapproachable man you would ever meet was our maths teacher for the day.
Myself and Kim was exchanging our usual flirtatious glances at each other (was she looking at me?), I felt a little flushed anyway.
I was also concentrating hard on my calculus 🙂 when I heard this creaking noise I looked up and Mr Diprosewas slowly rising to his feet, his old icy blue eyes stared directly at me.
Diprose “Mr Smith?”
ZACH “Err yes Sir”
Diprose “I just found this note on my desk would you like me to read it out to the class?”
ZACH “Err what for what’s it about?”
The class is so silent I can hear a pin drop, sniggering in front of me Diprose standing there with what I can only describe as some sort of smile forming, I’m thinking the miserable git never smiles.
Without warning Diprose slowly unfolds this note and starts to read APPARANTLY it had been written by me….
Coughs to clear throat just so he can humiliate me
Dear Mr Diprose,
I really need your help
I’m having trouble concentrating in maths class recently
You see my mum says I really need to do well in maths so I make sure I get into uni and I know I need maths and I can’t upset my mummy.
But I have a problem I can’t focus as I fancy one of the girls in the class its distracting me I can’t stop looking at her in class, she can’t stop looking at me either she is always looking at me.
I think about her all the time Mr Diprose it’s affecting my studies
what can I do? I was thinking maybe you could put her in another class
I want to tell her how I feel and I know she wants to tell me, what can we do so I don’t get distracted?

Diprose looks up, complete silence a snigger then a chorus of raucous laughter from the ENTIRE class
oh god
I’m feeling uncomfortable…
“But sir I didn’t even write that note”?
“Yes I’m sure Mr Smith”
giggling from spurle and parret
He looks me in the eye and says
“well Mr Smith which girl are we talking about again?”
Oh Christ I feel really embarrassed I’m starting to turn bright red I can feel it, ears are burning I’m feeling hot shit please please don’t go red.
“well I suppose its Kim Sir”
Diprose looks at Kim and says “well Miss Leach”?
“What Mr Diprose no way does smith distract me I wouldn’t even look at him in a million years sir”.
WHAT????? am I hearing right? my crush my sweetheart, she doesn’t even look at me let alone fancy or flirt with me!!!!
With that Diprose hands on hips starts roaring with laughter, then Kim then the whole class
I’m turning crimson red it’s the worst red I have ever experienced it wasn’t just embarrassment
This was something else….
Look, everyone, Zach is going all red a classmate kindly pointed out I was burning like a volcano my face was going to erupt no escape nowhere to go.
EVERYONE was laughing and pointing at me including Kim my love my sweetheart 🙁
So I ran….
Yep? I ran out of that class, and I didn’t go back all week
